The front of this vest is drafted the same way as the first vest draft. This front has a special allowance for the double-breasted buttoning. To begin this double-breasted front, first complete the single-breasted front and after increase for the double-breasted on the waist line, from Y to B is 3 inches, on the bottom from Z to A is 1½ inches. Now cross a line from A to B up to C, this is the outside of the front. Measure the opening as usual from O to C and cross a line from O to V down to C to reach the front and curve from O. as shown on the diagram. Now mark the style of the lapel on the pattern as wanted Take special notice to measure the opening for a double-breasted the same as for single-breasted.
