   Then forc'd a smile,
  She clos'd her eies, and died.



LXII.

The Ambitious Swain.


Young Jemmy was a lad
Of royall birth and breeding,
With every beauty clad,
And every praise exceeding:
His face and shape soe wonderous fine,
Soe charming every part,
That every lasse upon the green
For Jemmy had a hart.

In Jemmy's powerful eyes,
Young gods of love were playing,
And in his face there lies
A thousand smiles betraying:
