P. 439, To prevent the fraudulent practices of making soap in secret places, and sending it out in small casks; all soft soap that shall be filled in any other cask less than barrels, half-barrels, firkins, and half-firkins, shall be forfeited, and also L. 5 by the maker of it; half thereof to the seizer or informer, and half to the poor of the parish where such offence shall be committed.
