Therefore, all discharge and soiled linen from cholera cases should be immediately disinfected or destroyed, and every precaution must be taken during convalescence, as well as during the acute stage, to prevent contamination of wells, public water supply, drinking and table vessels, and food. The domestic fly and other vermin as vectors of the germ must not be overlooked.
