MUSIC AT NIGHT.

RIPPLE of waves upon the moonlit shore,
Chiming of voices silent evermore,
Shining of summer light on southern seas,
Murmur of doves among the forest trees,
Perfume of growing vines and clover lea,
Scent, sound, and sight they all come back to me-
All of delight my life hath ever known,
Gatherel ana scattered in one dulcet tone.
