I think, not be to urge it as a duty upon all to attend, so as to make it a burden upon the conscience of any. Men should be left free to use it as they find they are able, with profit and comfort to themselves, to do so. But it should be considered as a privilege for the Clergy to "wait upon God in his courts" every day; and it is right to give all lay-members of the Church the opportunity of attending, on any day when they are able and disposed so to do.
Trusting that what I have said may, by the blessing of God, be made useful to some, I commend the subject to all reverent students of the Word of God, and loyal members of our Church.
