PROTOCOL

On signing this day the Agreements between the Royal Netherlands Government and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on the one hand and the Government of the French Republic[1] on the other, regarding the establishment of an official rate of exchange between their respective currencies, the undersigned Plenipotentiaries hereby declare that it is the intention of their Governments to regard the said agreements as forming the basis of their mutual relations in this matter and that in so far as may be consistent with their provisions the said agreements are to be regarded as complementary to each other and as together forming one integral whole.

Done in triplicate in London the 14th June, 1940.
