The Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics of the one part, and the Government of the Polish Republic of the other part, considering that the demarcation of the Soviet-Polish State frontier, effected in accordance with the Agreement of 15 February 1951 concerning the exchange of sectors of their State territories, necessitates certain amendments to the Agreement concerning the regime on the Soviet-Polish State frontier and to the Convention concerning the Procedure for the Settlement of Frontier Disputes and Incidents, signed at Moscow on 8 July 1948,2 and also to the Protocols to the above-mentioned Agreement and Convention, have resolved to conclude the present Protocol and for that purpose have appointed as their Plenipotentiaries:
The Government of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Viktor Semenovich Kozlov, Chairman of the Soviet delegation to the Mixed Soviet-Polish Commission for the Demarcation of the State Frontier between the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the Polish Republic;
