"2. The Frontier Commissioner of the Lyuboml(Luboml) sector with permanent residence in Lyuboml; his sector of operations extends from frontier mark No. 673 (at the Yaroslav-Rava Russkaya railway) to frontier mark No. 700, set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1946-47, and from frontier mark No. 701-B to frontier mark No. 859-B, set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1951, and from frontier mark No. 860 to frontier mark No. 1122 (at Orkhovo, south of Vlodava), set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1946–47."

(3) Articles I and 2 of the Protocol to the Convention concerning the Procedure for the Settlement of Frontier Disputes and Incidents, relating to the residences of the Frontier Commissioners of the Polish Republic shall be amended to read as follows:

"1. The Frontier Commissioner of the Zheshov (Rzeszow) sector with permanent residence in Peremyshl (Przemysl); his sector of operations extends from the frontier mark "Kremenets" ("Krzemieniec") (at the junction with the Czechoslovak frontier)

to water frontier mark No. 350, set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1946-47, and from frontier mark No. 351-A to frontier mark No. 432-A, set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1951, and from frontier mark No. 472 to frontier mark No. 672 (at the Yaroslav-Rava Russkaya railway), set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1946–47.

"2. The Frontier Commissioner of the Chem sector with permanent residence in Chem; his sector of operations extends from frontier mark No. 673 (at the Yaroslav-Rava Russkaya railway) to frontier mark No. 700, set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1946-47, and from frontier mark No. 701-B to frontier mark No. 859-B, set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1951, and from frontier mark No. 860 to frontier mark No. 1122 (at Orkhovo, south of Vlodava), set up when the frontier was demarcated in 1946–47."

This Protocol is subject to ratification. The instruments of ratification shall be exchanged at Warsaw as soon as possible.

The Protocol shall enter into force at the time of its ratification by the two Contracting Parties.

Upon its entry into force, this Protocol shall become an integral part of the Agreement concerning the Régime on the Soviet-Polish State Frontier and of the Convention concerning the Procedure for the Settlement of Frontier Disputes and Incidents, signed at Moscow on 8 July 1948; it shall continue in force for such time as the Agreement and Convention remain in force and shall be subject to review on the same terms.
