By notifications dated 2 and 16 November 1955, the Government of France declared that the Convention and Protocols will apply, as from the date of their coming into force, to the metropolitan territory of France, and to the Departments Martinique, of Algeria, Guadeloupe, Guyane and Réunion.
Certified statement was registered by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization on 21 November 1955.
