Whereas by un act of the general assembly of Mmylzmd passed at the J zmuary session, eightecnlnundrcd and eighty, clmptar one hundred and sixty-five, the county commissioners of Anne Arundel County arc authorized and required to build n bridge ovcr the Severn River from the present public or county wharf in Annapolis situated at the foot of the street commonly called uml known as Wagner street, to Ferry Bar, on the opposite side of thé river, or at such point on said river as in the opinion of said commissioners shall be most practical and convenient, and so forth · and Whereas, lhrther, it is proposed, in accordance with the wishes of the authorities of the Naval Academy at Auuap01is,aud to facilitate the movements of their vessels, Heats, and so forth, to locate and build tho said bridge at ax point higher up the said river, and hom what is known ,. . as Meadow Bar, within the limits of the United States Government grounds ag Annapolis, to Brigds Point, on the opposite side of the said nvm-- an Wllcmas the proposed change in the location and site of the said bridge necessitates the granting of u right of way by Congress through the government grounds at Annapolis in order to the been and unobstrucmd use of thu said bridge, and to furnish to the public froc ingress and egress to aud from the said city: Therefore., Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rqwcccsdafvcc of the United Right of way to States of America in Congress assembled, That the right cfsvay is hereby $:1*6 ¥¤ *;::11 granted to the county of Anne Arundel, in the.
