Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the following sums be, t_P<>¤¤i<>¤¤ appropriaand the same are hereby, appropriated, out of any money in the Treas- ’°"s` ury not otherwise appropriated, for the payment of pensions for the fiscal year ending June thirtdeth, eighteen hundred and ninety-three, and for other purposes, namely: For Army and Navy pensions, as follows: For invaiids, widows, _I¤vmm, em., peuminor children, and dependent relatives; survivors and widows ot °‘°"°‘ the war of eighteen hundred and twelve and with Mexico, including allowances under the act of Congress approved June twenty- V<>1-26.p.182. seventh, eighteen hundred and ninety, and all arrears of pensions granted by the acts of January twenty-fifth and March third, eighteen V¤l·2°·Pr·265·46°· hundred and seventy-nine, or by any other existing law, one hundred and forty-four million nine hundred and fifty-six thousand dollars: Provided, That the appropriation aforesaid for Navy pensions shall P'°*>‘•°·*- be paid from the income of the Navy pension fund, so tar as the same Navy i>¤¤¤i<>¤¤· may be sufficient for that purpose: And provided further, That the amount expended under each of the above items shall be accounted A°°°¤¤°¤- for separately. And each member of each examining board shall, as now authorized by law, receive the sum of two dollars for the examination of each applicant whenever five or a less number shall be examined on any one day, and one dollar for the Pm.
