For copperplates, chart paper, priuter’s ink, copper, zinc, and chemicals for electrotyping and photographing; engraving, printing, photographing, and electrotyping supplies, for extra engraving and drawing; and for photolithographin g charts and printing trom stone and copper for immediate use; twenty thousand dollars. For stationery for theoftice and tield parties, transportation of instruments and supplies, when not charged to party expenses, office wagon and horses, tue], gas, tclegrams, ice, and washing, six thousand dollars. For miscellaneous expenses, contingencies of all kinds, office furniture, repairs, and extra labor, and for traveling expenses of assistants and others employed in the office sent on special duty in the service of the office, four thousand five hundred dollars.
