For continuing researches in physical hydrography relating to harbors and bars, and for tidal and current observations on the coast of the United States, or other coasts under the jurisdiction of the United States, ilve thousand dollars. For oiiishore soundin gs and examination of reported dangers on the coast of the United States, and of coasts under the jurisdiction of the United States, and to continue the compilation of the Coast Pilot, and to make special hydrographic examinations, and including the employ- ment of such pilots and nautical experts in the field and office as may be necessary for the same, ten thousand one hundred dollars.
