Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Sanhltspykcr. States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the P'"""' Interior be, and he ·is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Sarah M. Spyker, widow of L. P. Spyker, ensign Captain W. A. Goodwin’s company of Alabama Volunteers, Indian war, eighteen hundred and thirty-six, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month. Cotton, late a hospital nurse, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and alter the passage of this bill. Webster, late lieutenant of Company I, Eighth Regiment , New York Cavalry, upon the pension roll, subject to the provisions and ` limitations of the pension laws, and to pay him a pension of iihy dollars per month in lieu of any pension that may now be paid him.
