Mily 7.1998- l Be it enacted tbe Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the {.‘§;°sl;fn“f:“““h·, Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the ' pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Joseph Montieth, late a private of Company G, Third Hegiment Maine Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension of forty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United l States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Qf;;gaD•{l· me Navy be authorized and directed to correct the naval history of John amiss-ge wm C. Dull, who, while yet a minor, was enlisted as a landsman in the United States ship 4Etna for service during the war with Mexico, so as to relieve him from the charge of desertion, dated June third, eighteen hundred and forty-eight, and that said John C. May 7,1DB. _ Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the ,§:{;§0§P¤¤8l¤¢~ Interior is hereby authorized and directed to place upon the invalid ' pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Sarah Spangler, dependent mother of John Spangler, private in Company A, Ninth Ohio Cavalry Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars a month.
