Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the “§,“'““'°* H· T°“'“· Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the Pensionpension roll the name of Margaret H. Townsend, former wife of Charles Townsend, late private in Company H, Tenth Regiment New Hampshire}:/olunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension of twelve dollars per mont . . Approved, May 7, 1898. ‘ CHAP. 278.—·An Act Granting an increase of pension to Alphonso Freeman. Mer 7- 78*- A Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the $;g;*$;l¤Q¤f:B*:3¤· Interior be, and he hereby is, authorized and directed to increase ` the pension of Alphonso Freeman, late a private in Company F, Second United States Dragoons (Mexican war), from twelve dollars, the amount now received by said Freeman under pension certilicate numbered nine hundred and eight, to twenty dollars per month. Connelly, late of Company F, Eightyfourth New York Volunteers (Fourteenth New York State Militia), on the pension roll and pay her a pension of twelve dollars per month, in lieu of the pension she is now receiving. Approved, May 7, 1898. CHAP. 280.-An Act Granting a pension to Eliza B. Lowry. Lowry, widow of Alexander Lowry, Company C, Eightythird Pennsylvania Infantry Volunteers, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, and pay her a pension of twelve dollars per month.
