Dickel and Company, wholesale liquor dealers and distillers,

` seven dollars and thirty-eight cents expended by that lirm for revenue stamps on the second day of April, eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, to be affixed to serial packages one to eleven and twenty-three to thirty- six, containing distilled spirits produced by Cashion and Brown, distillery five hundred and seventy-seven, fifth district of Tennessee, and sold to the said George A. Dickel and Company in bond, which serial packages of distilled spirits were destroyed by iire on the night of the same day the stamps were purchased and before they were affixed; that the Secretary of the Treasury be, and is hereby, authorized and directed - to pay to the said George A. Dickel and Company, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the said sum of one thousand two hundred and twenty-seven dollars and thirty-eight cents as restigziw- to M M tution and reimbursement, and cancel the stamps so redeemed: Prommm? vided, That the stamps herein named shall first be returned to the Treasury Department. °'“Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Peter E. Shipler, late captain Company G, Tenth Regiment Pennsylvania Reserve Corps, and pay him a pension of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that he now receives. Approved, February 25, 1899. Steele, late orderly sergeant of Company B, Forty-eighth Missouri Infantry Volunteers, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, February 25, 1899.
