Lamport, late of the gunboat Mound City, Mississippi Flotilla, United States Navy, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in 1ieu`of that he is now receiving. MBP6h 3. 1899- Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United _ States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the §‘§,’,§{,‘,{·,§,§’Qf,f,';:;, Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the ' pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Jehiel J. Stevens, late a private in Company K, Eighteenth Regiment New York Volunteers, and pay him a pension at the rate of forty-tive dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving. Vennum, of uulzjeiemm F- Vw- Wheeling, Ohio County, West Virginia, who served under the name of opium romania Franklin Venom in Company D of the Third Regiment of Ohio Volun- "“°°"“'g°· teer Infantry in the Mexican war, shall be held and considered to have been honorably discharged irom that regiment on the seventeenth day of August, eighteen hundred and fortysix, and that the Secretary of War be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to issue to him a certificate of honorable discharge as of said date. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United _ States of Ameriea in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War be, §Q;gg;dV=;;£;:;,° and he is hereby, authorized and directed to correct the military record discharge. of Wesley Van Over, late of Company C, One hundred and ninth New York Infantry Volunteers, and to grant him an honorable discharge from such organization and remove the charge of desertion standing against him as a member thereof: Provided, That no pay, bounty, or §;¤*>§*°·m other emoluments shall become due or payable by virtue of the passage P y' ' of this Act.
