Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the James n.Pm¤m¤. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the P°““°“‘ pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James H. Preston, late of Captain John GriHin’s company, Battalion of Missouri Mounted Volunteers, and pay him a pension of eight dollars per month for services against the Comanche Indians in the year eighteen hundred and forty-eight. Approved, March 3, 1899. CHAP. 521.-An Act Granting a pension to Michael Launan.
