Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary E. Riley, widow of William P. Riley, late of Baldwin’s company, First Regiment Alabama Volunteer Infantry, war with Mexico, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.

Devore, widow of Elbert Devore, late of Captain T. J. Hibbler’s company, First Regiment South Carolina Volunteer Infantry, Seminole Indian war, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.
