Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary Farrell, widow of James Farrell, late of Company K, Third Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month, such pension to cease upon proof that the soldier is still livingPension to cease if soldier be living.

Merrill, late unassigned, Fourteenth Regiment Maine Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.
