Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Harry M. Sherman, late of Company G, Twelfth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alvin D. Lane, late of Company K, Second Regiment Maine Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Wood, late captain Company L, Second Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry, and Company H, Two hundred and seventh Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Chap. 1158.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to Alice M. Stafford.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alice M. Stafford, widow of Stephen R. Stafford, late captain, Fifteenth Regiment United States Infantry, and major, United States Army, retired, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving, and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of said Stephen R. Stafford until she reaches the age of sixteen years.
