Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Margaret H. Booth, widow of Henry Booth, late of Company A, Eighth Regiment Iowa Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month.

Chap. 1449.—An Act Granting a pension to Anna S. Christopherson.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Anna S. Christopherson, helpless and dependent daughter of Ole Christopherson, late of Company K, Twenty-fifth Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.

Chap. 1450.—An Act Granting an increase of pension to John F. Hockey.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John F. Hockey, late of Company D, First Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

Chap. 1451.—An Act For the relief of Julius A. Kaiser.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to pay to Julius A. Kaiser the sum of three thousand seven hundred and fifty-eight dollars and forty-five cents, being the amount disallowed by the accounting officers for difference between active-duty pay of a second assistant engineer and retired pay of a first assistant engineer from October thirteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, to July eighth, eighteen hundred and seventy-three, while on the active list of officers of the Navy.
