C. McCan and Edward Conery, senior, sureties on the bond of Andrew W. Smythe formerly superintendent of the mint at New Orleans, Louisiana, in full settlement and compromise of all claims on the Epiirt of the United States against the estates of D. C. McCan and ward Conery, senior, their heirs, legatees, and successors, growing out of and arising from the gud ent rendered against them and in avor of the United States in the States circuit court for the fifth circuit and eastern district of Louisiana, New Orleans division, in the cause entitled “United States against Andrew Smythe and others,” numbered twelve thousand three hundred and twenty-nine of the docket of said gcgurt; and that,`15pon payment of said sum, full receipt and acquittance gran to said parties,.
