Alverson, of Saint Clair County, Alabama, did pay to the receiver of the land office at Huntsville, Alabama, the sum of six dollars, amount of fee and compensation of register and receiver for the entry of the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of section twelve, in township sixteen south, range three east, R·S··“°·*·’9°·¥’·‘”· under section twenty-two hundred and ninety, Revised Statutes of the United States, and received a receiver’s recei t for the same; and Whereas said land had been reported to the land office as valuable for coal, and therefore not subject to entry; and Whereas said Claude B. Alverson had, prior to notice of the fact. that he could not enter said lands, inade valuable improvements on said lands at considerable cost and expense: Therefore, Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Remesentatives of the United glands BQ1Q5g5s0n- States of America in Ctmgress assembled, That the said Claude B.
