2742 PROCLAMATIONS, 1910. approved June fo1u·th, eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, entitled "An Act Making appropriations for sundry civil expenses of the Government for the Escal year ending June thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninet -eight, and for other purposes/’ do proclaim that the boundaries of the I§outt National Forest are hereby changed and that the are now as shown on the diagram forming a part hereof. $g<;5**¤¤2§¤¤d¤· 'lllris proclamation shall not prevent the settlement and entry of any ' ’p' lands heretofore opened to settlement and entry under the Act of Coness approved June eleventh, nineteen hundred and six, entitled "An get To provide for the entry of Agricultural lands within forest reserves. ’ p,m°gm;_$*,;°’°d °° The lands hereby eliminated from the Routt National Forest which ` are not embraced in withdrawals for administrative sites for use in the management of the Forest, or in any other reservation or appropriation, shall be restored to the public domain and become su ject to settlement under the eneral provisions of the homestead laws on such date and after suci notice by publication as the Secretary of the Interior may prescribe, but shall not become subject to entry, filing, selection, or other form of appropriation until the expiration of thirt days from the date so iixed, except that on the same date as the landls eliminated become subject to settlement, the State of Colorado may, migdemlexy school if the lands eliminated are subject to such selection, select as indem- °° m' nity in the satisfaction of its common school grant, not to exceed two sections of land in each entire townshilp restored, or one section in each fractional portion of a township w ere the restored area thereof exceeds five thousand (5,000) acres, and no person will be permitted ` to acquire or exercise any right whatever under any settlement or occupagcy Eegipnbpggr to such ate, and all such settlement or occupation IS ere or I en.
