When any such enlistment contract does not contain such obligation °b”8¤*i°¤¤*°¤¤i¤¢i the enlisted man shall not be recognized as a member of the National Guard until he shall have signed an enlistment contract and taken and subscribed to the followiugh oath of enlistment, u on signing Om °“° "°"""°‘· which credit shall be given for the eriod already served under the old enlistment contract: "I do herelby acknowledge to have volun- F°"“" tarily enlisted this — day of ———, 19-, as a soldier in the National Guard of the United States and of the State of —-—-——, for the period of three years in service and three years in the reserve, under the conditions prescribed b law, unless sooner discharged b proper authority.
