Incidental expenses, Treasury Department.For allowance to the person employed in transmitting passports and sea letters; for expenses of translating foreign languages in the office of the Secretary of the Treasury; for stationery, fuel, printing, books, and all other incidental and contingent expenses in the Treasury Department, and the several offices therein, including the expenses of stating and printing the public accounts for the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty-nine, and for adverting treasury notices in relation to the reimbursement of certain portions of the public debt, and in relation to revolutionary claims under the act of the fifteenth of May, one thousand eight hundred and twenty-eight,1818, ch. 53. thirty-one thousand two hundred and sixty-two dollars and fifty cents.

Superintendent and watchmen of state and treasury buildings.For allowance to the superintendent and four watchmen, employed for the security of the state and treasury buildings, and for the repairs of engines and buckets, one thousand four hundred and twenty-five dollars.

Secretary of War.For compensation to the Secretary of War, four thousand five hundred dollars.
