The Criminal Code of the United States provides: S*°*°*°'Y P’°"*S*°¤¤· Section 1. ‘ Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war ${,*]@¤g°§&gdagainst them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and ' ` comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason. Section 2.
