Resolved by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the following sums ar e appro priate d, out of any money i n the T reasury not ot herwise appr opriated, for the f iscal year 1930 for salaries and expen ses of the Fe deral R adio C ommissi on as c ontinue d by th e Act a pproved Decem- ber 18, 1929, namely For an additional amount fo r the pay of five com missioners at the rate of $10,000 each per annum, $5,000; For an additional amount fo r all othe r authorize d expenses of the Fe deral R adio C ommissi on in p erformi ng the duties imposed by the Radio Act of 1927, as amended, including personal services, news- papers and periodicals, law and reference books, special counsel fees, printing and binding, supplies and equipment which, when the aggre- gate amount involved does not exceed $25, may be purchased without regard to section 3709 of the Revised Statutes (United States Code, title 41, section 5), contract stenographic reporting services without refe rence to such secti on, travel and othe r necessary expense s, $26,000; a nd in additio n there to $75, 000 of the une xpended balanc e of th e appropriation " Salaries and Expenses, Federal Radio Commission, 1 927-19 29 " is here by reappro priated an d made ava ilable for the pur- poses of the appropriation " Salaries and Expenses, Federal Radio C ommission, 1930," al l to be re troactive to the dat e of the a pproval of such Act of December 18, 1929 .
