An Act Authorizing the Secretary of the Navy to acc ept, without cost to the Government of the United States , a lig hter-th an-air base near Sunnyvale, in the county of Santa Clara, State of California, and construct necessary improvements thereon . Be it enacted by the Se nate and House of Representatives of the Uni ted S tates o f A meric a in C ongre ss as semble d, That the Secretary of the Navy is hereby authorized to accept on behalf of the United States, free from encumbrance and without cost to the United States, a title in fee simple to such lands as he may deem necessary or desir- able near Sunnyvale, in the county of Santa Clara, State of Cali- fornia, particularly described in a report made to the Congress of the United States by the Secretary of the Navy on December 5, 1929, to wit : One thousand acres as a site for a naval air station, and con struct the reon impr ovements n ecessary a nd proper for a lighter-than-air base, at a cost not to exceed $5,000,000 . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of R epresentatives of the Uintah, etc ., bands United States o f America in Congress assembled, That there is of at ° Indians, Utah . Pay ment to, for cer- hereby authorized to be appropriated the sum of $1,217,221 .2 5 f or land s of, author - ized. payment, at the rate of $1 .25 per acre, to the Uintah, White River, and Uncompahgre bands of Ute Indians in the State of Utah for nine hundred and seventy-three thousand seven hundred and seventy- seven acres of land belonging to such Indians being a part of the one million and ten thousand acres of land withdrawn from entry and sale by an Executive Order dated July 14, 1905, and A ppo rti onm ent to included within the Uintah National Forest .
