1127 For improvements, maintenance, and operation of the Fort Hall irrigation system, Idaho, $45,000 . For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of the Act approved May 29, 1928 (45 Stat., p. 938), to provide reclamation of Kootenai Indian allotments in Idaho within the exterior boundaries of drain- age districts that may be benefited by drainage works of such dis- tricts, the unexpended balance of the appropriation of $114,000 contained in the Act of March 4, 1929 (45 Stat ., p . 1574), is hereby continued available until June 30, 1932 . For maintenance and operation, repairs and continuation of con- struction of the irrigation systems on the Fort Belknap Reservation, i n Mont ana, $20,00 0, re imbur sable in ac corda nce wi th th e prov ision s of the Act of April 4, 1910 (36 Stat ., p. 270) . For maintenance and operation of the Little Porcupine Division, the Big Porcupine Division, and not exceeding four thousand acres under the West Side canal and the Poplar River Division, Fort Peck p roject , Mon tana, $8, 000, reimbursable . For operation and maintenance of the irrigation systems on the Flathead Indian Reservation, Montana, $18,000 ; for continuation of construction, Cama s A betterment, $10,000 ; beginn ing c onstr uc- tion of Lower Crow Reservoir, $90,000, together with the unex- pended balance of the appropriation for completing the Kicking Horse Reservoir contained in the Interior Department Appropria- tion Act for the fiscal year 1931 ; beginning Pablo Reservoir enlarge- ment, $85,000 ; lateral systems betterment, $25,000 ; miscellaneous e nginee ring, surve ys an d exa minati ons, $5,000 ; purchase of reservoir and camp sites, $55,000 ; for the construction or purchase of a power distributing system, $50,000 ; in all, $338,000 : Pr ovi ded, That t he unexpended balance of the appropriations for continuing construc- tion of this project now available shall remain available for the fiscal year 1932 for s uch constr uction or purchase of a powe r- distributing system : Provided further, That in addition to the a mounts he rein appro priated f or such co nstruction or purch ase of a power-distributing system, the Secretary of the Interior may also enter into contracts for the same purposes not exceeding a total of $200,000, and his action in so doing shall be deemed a contractual obligation of the Federal Government for the payment of the cost thereof and appropriations hereafter made for such purposes shall be considered available for the purpose of discharging the obligation so created : Provided further, That the funds made available herein for continuation of construction shall be subject to the reimbursable and other conditions and provisions of said Acts : Provided further, That in any district in this project, which has or may hereafter execute a repayment contract in pursuance of existing law, the first payment of construction charges may in the discretion of the Secre- tary of the Interior be required in the calendar year 1935, but in any event the total repayment of such construction charges shall be required in not more than forty years from the date of public notice heretofore given : And provided further, That upon execution by the Jocko and Mission districts of repayment contracts in pursuance to ex isting law , the ope ration and maintena nce charge s for thos e d istric ts fo r the irrig ation seaso n of 19 31 shall be covered into co nstruction c osts .
