FEDE RAL POWE R COM MISS ION For every expenditure requisite for and incident to the work of the Federal Power Commission as authorized by law, including trav eling expe nses, inc ludin g exp ense s of atten danc e at meeti ngs which in the discretion of the Commission are necessary for the effi- cient discharge of its responsibilities ; contract stenographic reporting services, and not exceeding $1,000 for press-clipping service, law books, books of re ferenc e, new spaper s, and period icals, $255, 695, o f which amount not to exceed $212,620 shall be available for personal services in the District of Columbia, including five commissioners at $10,000 each . FEDERAL RADIO COMMISSION For five commissioners, at $10,000 each per annum, and for all other authorized expenditures of the Federal Radio Commission in per- forming the duties imposed by the Radio Act of 1927, as amended, including personal services, contract stenographic reporting services without reference to section 3709 of the Revised Statutes (U . S . C., title 41, sec . 5), printing and binding, rental of quarters in the Dis- trict of C olumb ia, newsp apers , pe riodi cals, refe renc e boo ks, l aw books, special counsel fees, supplies and equipment, which may be purch ased witho ut r egard to s ecti on 37 09 of the Revi sed S tatut es (U. S. C ., title 41, sec . 5) when the aggregate amount involved does not exc eed $2 5, tra veling expen ses, i ncludin g expe nses o f atte ndance at meetings which in the discretion of the commission are necessary for the e fficient discharge of its r esponsibi lities, a nd other necessary expenses, $465,380, of which amount not to exceed $365,880 may be expended for personal services in the District of Columbia .
