Mather . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Ste phen T . Mather. United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the National Meal, att e ., author- or- National Ca pital Park and
g Planning Commission be, and is hereby author- iz ed .ized . iz ed and d irected t o provid e, in co nnection with th e park an d play- ground system of the National Capital or the George Washington Parkway, a suitable memorial in memory of the late Stephen T . Mather, the first Director of the National Park Service, and for- merly ex-officio member of said National Capital Park and Planning Commission, as in the judgment of said Commission shall be appro- priate in re cognition of his distinguished ser vice to the nation . Fed eral Gov ernm ent Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the lions on real estate . Consent to name United States o f America in Congress assembled, That, upon the Government party de- conditions herein prescribed for the protection of the United States, in, granted . case involv- ing ,
the consent of the United States be, and it is hereby given, to be named a party in any suit which is now pending or which may here- after be brought in any United States district court, including those for the districts of Alaska, Hawaii, and Porto Rico, and the Supreme Court of the District of Columbia, and in any State court having jurisdiction of the subject matter, for the foreclosure of a mortgage or other lien upon real estate, for the purpose of securing an adjudi- cation touching any mortgage or other lien the United States may have or claim on the premises involved . SEC . 2 . Service upon the United States shall be made by serving the process of the court with a copy of the bill of complaint upon the United States Attorney for the district or division in which the suit Copies to Attorney has been or may be brought and by sending copies of the process and bill, by registered mail, to the Attorney General of the United States at Washington, District of Columbia . The United States shall have sixty days after service as above provided, or such further time as the court may allow, within which to appear and answer, plead or demur . Service of process . General . CHAP. 513 .-An Act Relating to the tenure of Congressional Members of the George Washington Bi-centennial Commission . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States o f America in Congress assembled, That the member- ship of Senators and Members of the House of Representatives on th e George Washington Bi-centenn ial Commission shall continue irrespective of their terms as Members of Congress . Any vacancies arising in the personnel of the said commission shall be filled as follows : Any vacancies occurring among Senators shall be filled by the President of the Senate, and any vacancies occurring among Members of the House of Representatives, before the organi- zation of the Seventy-second Congress, shall be filled by appointment of the present Speaker of the House of Representatives .
