The Public Printer may continue the employment under his jurisdiction of William Madden, Congressional Record messenger, at the Capitol, notwithstanding any provision of the Act entitled "An Act for the retirement of employees in the classified civil serv- ice, and for other purposes," approved May 22, 1920, and any amend- ment thereof, prohibiting extensions of service for more than four years after the age of retirement . EXECUTIVE Protection of interests of the United States in leases on oil lands in former naval reserves : For expenses ari sing in conne ction with carrying into effect the public resolution entitled " J oint res olut ion directing the President to institute and prosecute suits to cancel certain leases of oil lands and incidental contracts, and for other purposes," approved February 8, 1924 (43 Stat ., p . 6), and the public resolution entitled " Joint resolution to provide an appropriation for the prosecution of suits to cancel certain leases, and for other purposes," approved February 27, 1924 (43 Stat ., p . 16), the unex- pended balances of the appropriations available for the fiscal year 1931 are hereby continued available until June 30, 1932 .
