281 newspapers, for which payment may be made in advance ; stationery, sta tionery, etc . including tags, labels, index cards, cloth-lined wrappers, and speci- men bags, printed in the course of manufacture, and such printed envelopes as are not supplied under contracts made by the Post- master General, for the department and its several bureaus and offices, and other absolutely necessary expenses not hereinbefore rovided for, $122,000 ; and, in addition thereto, sums amounting to sp Additional, P rim 75,500 for stationery supplies shall be deducted from other appro- tiers, priations made for the fiscal year 1931, as follows : Surveying pub- lic lands, $2,000 ; protecting public lands and timber, $1,000 ; con- tingent expenses, local land offices, $2,500 ; Geological Survey, $4,500 ; Post, p. 1565 . Indian Service, $45,000 ; Freedmen's Hospital, $1,000 ; Saint Eliza- beths Hospital, $2,500 ; National Park Service, $5,000 ; Bureau of Reclamation, $12,000, any unexpended portion of which shall revert and be credited to the reclamation fund ; and said sums so deducted shall be credited to and constitute, together with the first-named sum of $12 2,000, the total appropriatio n for contingent expenses for the department and its several bureaus and offices for the fiscal year 1931 . For the purchase or exchange of professional and scienti fic books, etnooks, periodicals, law and medical books, and books to complete broken sets, periodi- cals, directories, and other books of reference relating to the business of the dep artment by the several office s and bureaus of the Interior Department herein named, $500, and in addition there is hereby made available from any appropriations made for such bureau or office not to exceed the following respective sums : Office of the Sec- office allotments . retary, $600 ; Pension Office, $800 ; Indian Service, $500 ; Office of Education, $1,800 ; Bureau of Reclamation, $2,000 ; Geological Sur- vey, $2,500 ; National Park Service, $700 ; General Land Office, $500 .
