Provided, That all sheets or plates of iron or steel thinner than one hundred and nine one-thousandths of one inch shall be subject to duty as iron or steel sheets . PAR . 308. All iron or steel sheets, plat es, bars, and rods , and all hoop , band, or scro ll iron or stee l, exce pting wh at are known co m- mercially as tin plates, terneplates, and taggers tin, when gal- vanized o r coated with zinc , spelter, or othe r metals, or any alloy of those metals, shall be subject to two-tenths of 1 cent per pound more duty than if the same was not so galvanized or coated ; sheets or plates composed of iron, steel, copper, nickel, or other metal with layers of other metal or metals imposed thereon by forging, ham- mering, rolling, or welding, 30 per centum ad valorem

PAR. 310. Sheets or plates of iron or steel, or tog§ers iron or steel, coated with tin or lead, or with a mixture of which these metals, or either of them, is a component part, by the dipping or any other process, and commercially known as tin plates, terneplates, and tag- gers tin, 1 cent per pound . PAR . 311 . No article not specially provided for which is wholly or partly manufactured from tin plate, terneplate, or sheet, plate, hoop, band, or scroll iron or steel, or of which such tin plate, terne- plate, sheet, plate, hoop, band, or scroll iron or steel shall be the material of chief value, shall be subject to a lower rate of duty tha n that impo sed on the tin pla te, terneplate, or sheet, plate, ho op, band, or scroll iron or steel from which it is made, or of which it shall be the component thereof of chief value . Beams, girders, joists, angles, channels, car-truck chan- nels, tees, columns and posts, or parts or sections of columns and posts, and deck and bulb beams, together with all other structural shapes of iron or steel, not assembled, manufactured or advanced beyond hammering, rolling, or casting, one-fifth of 1 cent per pound
