[Public, No. 16.] Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representative s o f the United States of America in Congress assembled, (a) That the times for commencing and completing the construction of the bridge across the Missouri River, between Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Omaha, Nebraska, authorized to be built by the city of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and the city of Omaha, Nebraska, or either of them, by the Act of Congress approved May 24, 1928, are hereby extended one and three yea rs, respe ctiv ely, from the date of t he a pprov al h ereof . (b) That the times for commencing and completing the construc- tion of a bridge across the Ouachita River at or near Calion, Arkan- sas, authorized to be built by the State Highway Commission of Arkansas, by the Act of Congress approved March 12, 1928, as am ende d by Act appr oved May 25, 1928 , are her eby exten ded one and three years, respectively, from the date of approval hereof . (c) That the tim es for co mmencing and comp leting th e constru c- tion of a bridge across the Red River at or near Garland City, Ark ansas, au thorized to be bu ilt by th e State H ighway Co mmission of Ark ansas by the Act of Co ngre ss a pprov ed May 25, 19 28, are hereby extended one and three years, respectively, from the date of approval hereof . (d) That the times for commencing and completing the con- struction of a bridge across the White River at or near Clarendon, Ark ansas, au thorized to be bu ilt by th e State H ighway Co mmission of Arkansas, by the Act of Congress approved May 29, 1928, are her eby exten ded one a nd three years, r espective ly, from the date of approval hereof. (e) That the times for commencing and completing the construc- tion of a bridge across the White River at or near Augusta, Arkansas, authorized to be built by the State Highway Commission of Arkansas by the Act of Congress approved May 26, 1928, are hereby extended one and three years, respectively, from the date of approval hereof . (f) That the times for commencing and completing the construc- tion of a bridge across the White River at or near Cotter, Arkansas, au thorized to be bui lt by th e State H ighway Co mmission of Arkan - sas by the Act of Congress approved May 1, 1928, are hereby extended one and three years, respectively, from the date of approval hereof. (g) That the times for commencing and completing the construc- tion of a bridge across the Ohio River at or near Shawneetown, Gal- latin County, Illinois, and a point opposite thereto in Union County, K entucky, authoriz ed to be built by the Act of Congre ss entitl ed "An Act a uthor izin g J. L . Rowan, his heirs, legal representatives, a nd assign s, to co nstruct, maintain, and ope rate a br idge across the Ohio River at or near Shawneetown, Illinois," approved May 1, 1928, are hereby extended one and three years, respectively, from May 1, 1929 . (h) That the times for commenci ng and co mpleting the cons truc- tion of a bridge across the Detroit River at or near Stony Island, Wayne County, State of Michigan, authorized to be built by the Act of Congress entitled "An Act authorizing the Detroit River Canadian Bridge Company, its successors and assigns, to construct, Bridges .
