61 STAT.] 80TH CONG. , 1 ST SESS.-CH. 208-JULY 7 , 1947 ARTICLE I-SALARIES OF TEACHERS, SCHOOL LIBRARIANS, RESEARCH ASSISTANTS, AND COUNSELORS CLASS 1--TEACHERS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS Group A: A basic salary of $2,500 per year, with an annual increase in salary of $100 for fifteen years, or until a maximum salary of $4,000 per year is reached. Group C: A basic salary of $3,000 per year, with an annual increase in salary of $100 for fifteen years, or until a maximum salary of $4,500 per year is reached. CLASS 2-TEACHERS IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOLS Group A: A basic salary of $2,500 per year, with an annual increase in salary of $100 for fifteen years, or until a maximum salary of $4,000 per year is reached. Group C: A basic salary of $3,000 per year, with an annual increase in salary of $100 for fifteen years, or until a maximum salary of $4,500 per year is reached. CLASS 3--TEACHERS IN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS Group A: A basic salary of $2,500 per year, with an annual increase in salary of $100 for fifteen years, or until a maximum salary of $4,000 per year is reached.
