Widely distributed, especially in fens — trianguium, Ochs. In most woods spar- ingly, but common at Foxley — flammatra. Fab. A single example of this great rarity was obtained at ' light ' at Cromer in 1875, by Mr. W. H. Thornthwaite. It is figured in the Lepidoptera of the British Isles. One or two other British specimens are known — ditrapezium, Hb. Foxley Wood ; rare — rhomboidea,Tr. Thetford, Merton, Aldeby, Hackford, Sparham ; not common — brunnea, Sch.
