Prior to the 1881 Census George Street was added to St. Matthew Parish and High Street to St. Margaret. The area of George Street is included in that of St. Matthew and that of High Street in St. Margaret's. St. Maryat-the-Quay includes, in 1831, 170 persons in Extra Parochial houses.
