459. The Srutis, whose words are in- fallible, declare the Atman to be ^'birth- less, eternal and undecaying.'^ So, to the man who lives identified with That, how can the Prarabdha be attributed? ,

460. The Prarabdha can be maintained only so long as one lives identified with the body. But no one admits that the man of realisation ever identifies himself with the body. Hence the Prarabdha should be rejected in his case.
