Posture: Which is an important thing with beginners. ' Asana ' may also mean ' seats.'
Direction — facing north or east.
Moral disciplines — The Yama and Niyama ob- servances mentioned in Ashtanga Yoga.
Objects 0/ meditation — gross or fine. ]
530. To know that this is a jar, what
condition, forsooth, is necessary except
that the means of knowledge be free from
defect, which alone ensures a cognition of
the object ?
