He belongs to the Deshmukh family of Nizampur, and his early days saw a hard struggle against adverse circumstances. He entered the Educational Department of Bombay twenty-nine years ago. As Head Master at Nasik he has ruled the School with great tact and success during trying times of sedition in that district. He is a generous supporter of the poor and needy.
