Mr. Far-san T. Sung was born at Hsing-hua Hsien, Fukien province, in 1883. He studied at Anglo-Chinese School, Hsinghua, 1896-1900. In August 1900 he went to America and studied Science at Ohio Wesleyan University, 1900-5, graduating with the degree of B. Sc; at the University of Chicago, 1905-7, graduating with the degree of B.
