Odin Essers, MA, is the main curator of Maastricht University’s Special Collections and the driving force behind several Wikimedia-related activities and projects. Carme Fenoll i Clarabuch, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Librarian. She is a librarian with a long career in the eld of public libraries and cultural management. She holds a degree in Librarianship and Documentation from the University of Barcelona and master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Management from the Open University of Catalonia. From 2012 to 2017 she was Head of the Public Library Service of the Catalan Ministry of Culture, where she promoted the #Bibliowikis project. She has continued to be linked to Wikipedia as a volunteer. Since 2018 she has been working as Head of the Rector’s Bureau of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and she continues to be linked to the world of libraries, reading, and education.
Brittany Paloma Fiedler coordinates information literacy instruction for the university’s first-year composition program and provides instruction, research support, and outreach for K-12, undergraduate, and graduate students. Her research interests include how traditionally underserved students engage with academic libraries, the experiences of librarians of color, and librarian-led professional development. Brittany earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Arts in English Literature from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She was a 2015–2016 ALA Spectrum Scholar and 2018 ALA Emerging Leader.
