Science. He is an Associate Librarian at the McGill University Library where he holds the position of Liaison Librarian for French Literature, Economics, and LGBTQ+ Studies. In 2011, he completed his undergraduate work, a BA in French Studies and a BA in Advertising at the Michigan State University. MDM began exploring the intersections of Wikipedia and liaison librarianship at the 2017 edition of Wikimania in Montréal. Since then, he has focused his Wikipedia work on the representation of Québec’s LGBTQ+ history and culture in the Francophone Wikipedia (WikipédiaFR).
Rosan Mitola is the Interim Head of Educational Initiatives for the UNLV University Libraries. She leads the library instruction program and provides leadership for the Libraries’ educational role on campus. Rosan also designs cocurricular learning experiences for students and oversees the Mason Undergraduate Peer Research Coach Program. Her research interests include peer-assisted learning in academic libraries, student employment as a high-impact practice, and dismantling deficit thinking in information literacy instruction and cocurricular outreach. She earned a Master of Library and Information Science from San José State University and a BA in History from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
