Shirin Tumenbaeva is Assistant Professor at the International and Comparative Politics Department of the American University of Central Asia. As a DAAD scholarship holder, she completed an MA in Political Science at the University of Mannheim.

Liz Waltman, MLIS, is the Outreach, Education and Communications Coordinator for the NNLM Southeastern/Atlantic Region, based at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She is responsible for the development of training opportunities and outreach initiatives for library and health professionals and coordinating all communications for the regional medical library.
Eric Willey is an associate professor and the Special Collections and Formats Cataloger at Illinois State University. He has previously worked as an intern at the Illinois Regional Archives Depository at Western Illinois University, as a project assistant with the McCormick-International Harvester Collection at the Wisconsin Historical Society, and as an associate curator at the Filson Historical Society in Louisville, Kentucky.
