Compared with the results of dream investigations and psychoanalysis, however, the results are of significance in so far that one will hardly be able to say that they have been arbitrarily adapted to the point of view. The material appears, however, to speak for itself and corroborate our views. Also it appears to me that they represent another step taken on the way of comparative psychology.
